The idea behind NooitSlapen

One place for every freelance project

Built for Dutch IT freelancers today. The problem it solves is the same in any market where work is scattered across portals.

The problem

Freelancers lose most of their time before the work even starts. Freelance projects are scattered across a handful of portals, the best ones sit behind a login, and job titles are often misleading, so you read postings that turn out to be nothing for you.

Then, for every posting worth a shot, you rewrite your CV and a cover letter. That is the part that quietly eats the hours you should be billing.

What NooitSlapen does

It pulls freelance projects from multiple portals into one place. Each one is scored against your own CV, with a short note on why it fits, including the strengths and the gaps. No guessing, no twenty open tabs.

For the ones you want to chase, a tailored CV and cover letter are ready, built from your real experience and projects, never invented. And it does not stop at applying. Every application stays visible from the first match to the signed contract, with a nudge when something goes quiet.

Why this travels beyond the Netherlands

Today NooitSlapen is Dutch only, built for the Dutch IT market. But the problem is not Dutch. Wherever work is spread across job portals and a CV has to be rewritten for each posting, the same hours go missing.

The workflow itself is market-agnostic. What has to be local is the set of portals it reads and the language it writes in. That is a question of where we go next, not whether the idea works.

What we believe

Depth over breadth

We build for one group and do it well, starting with Dutch IT freelancers. Not a tool that does everything a little.

The whole journey counts

Most tools stop at the application. That is where the work begins. We stay with you until the contract is signed.

You hold the pen

Everything the AI writes starts from your own CV and is clearly labelled as AI. You decide what goes out.

Your data stays yours

Stored in Europe, never resold, and not used to train AI models.
